New Car Coating Singapore

Just Collected Your New Car? Here’s Why Coating It Now Is the Smartest Move

Why Coat Your New Car Immediately

The first week after collection is the best time to coat your car — here’s why:

Paint is pristine — no scratches, swirl marks, or contamination. Coating bonds perfectly to clean factory paint

No paint correction needed — saves you the cost and clear-coat removal of polishing before coating

Maximum protection from day one — every day without coating is a day your paint absorbs UV, minerals, and contaminants

Best ROI — protecting $150,000–$500,000+ of metal before any damage occurs is pure prevention, not repair

Singapore fact: UV damage to unprotected paint begins within the first week of outdoor exposure. Bird droppings can etch clear coat within 30 minutes in direct sunlight. Coat early, coat now.

Which Coating for a New Car?

Since new car paint needs zero correction, you get the full benefit of every coating tier:

Package Duration Best For From (SGD)
FRESH KeePer 1 Year Budget-conscious / want to try first 178
DIA II KeePer ★ 3 Years Best value for most new car owners 368
EX KeePer 3+ Years Luxury / performance / expensive paint 588
Matte Texture 3 Years Matte or satin finish new cars 368

Our recommendation for most new cars: DIA II KeePer. 3 years of double-layer glass protection at a price point that makes sense for any new car budget. You’ve already spent $150K+ on the car — SGD 368–648 to protect it for 3 years is a rounding error.

New Car Coating Checklist

When you collect your new car from the dealer:

  1. Drive carefully to KeePer LABO — avoid car parks with tight pillars, don’t park under trees
  2. Don’t wash it yourself — incorrect washing creates micro-scratches on day one. Let KeePer do the first wash properly
  3. Don’t accept dealer “free coating” — most dealer coatings are low-grade spray sealants worth $20–50 that wear off in weeks
  4. Book your coating appointment at booking.sgkeeper.com — ideally within the first week of collection

FAQ — New Car Coating

Should I coat my new car before or after the first wash?
Come directly to KeePer LABO without washing. We’ll perform a proper first wash using pure water and non-contact methods, then apply the coating immediately. This ensures no wash swirls are introduced before coating.
My dealer offered free coating — should I accept it?
Dealer “free coatings” are typically low-grade spray sealants that last weeks, not years. They’re often included in an inflated accessory package. Skip it and invest in real KeePer coating that lasts 1–3+ years with genuine glass-resin technology.
How soon after buying should I coat my car?
As soon as possible — ideally within the first week of collection. Every day without coating exposes your brand-new paint to Singapore’s UV, acid rain, and environmental contaminants. There’s no “break-in period” needed for modern car paint.

Dear Valued Customers,

Thank you very much for your continued support of KeePer LABO Singapore since our opening in August 2024. Thanks to your patronage, we have been able to maintain our service prices without any adjustments for the past two years.

Due to rising crude oil prices caused by ongoing geopolitical tensions, the cost of our premium coating materials and their transportation has increased significantly. While we have done our best to absorb these additional costs, we have reached a point where a modest adjustment to our service prices is necessary to maintain the quality of our products and services.

Accordingly, our revised prices will take effect from Tuesday, 1 September 2026.

We are also pleased to let you know that KeePer LABO Singapore is no longer GST-registered. As a result, customers will no longer be charged GST on our services.
